Insurance Defense and Coverage—Our firm provides forum-effective representation and advice for insurance companies and business entities responding to claims for damages. We also assist insurance companies litigating questions of specific coverage responsibility under issued policies of insurance.

Litigation and Appeals—Our firm represents and advises clients who are, or might become, involved in a lawsuit or appeal. We represent clients at every level of the territorial and federal court systems. Mr. Simpson tries jury cases and participates in appeals to the U.S. Court of Appeals on a regular basis.

Admiralty & Maritime Law—We provide counsel for maritime law issues including shipping, marine cargo, salvage, and workers injured at sea, on navigable waters, or while working in harbor. We also represent clients in contract negotiations for shipping cargo and in resolving issues that result from performance of those contracts and have experience in the requirements of the Jones Act, COGSA and the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act.

Environmental & Land Use Law—Our firm helps clients obtain required permits related to local environmental laws, in particular, the Coastal Zone Management Act. We are committed to assisting clients who desire to formulate profitable, environmentally sustainable plans for land use and development in the unique eco-system of the Virgin Islands.
